Scams, phishing attempts, and impersonation are real problems in the recruitment space, and bad actors are always looking for a new angle. So we want to be completely transparent about how Calyptus communicates, and how you can quickly confirm that any email you receive is genuinely from our recruitment team.
Our Verified Sending Domains
Calyptus operates a number of sending domains for outreach, notifications, and candidate communications. If you receive an email from any of the domains listed below, it is legitimate and has come from us - you're safe to engage.

What If the Domain Isn't on This List?
If you receive an email claiming to be from Calyptus but the sending domain does not appear in the list above, do not engage.
Do not click any links, download any attachments, or share any personal information. We'll never send email from addresses outside of the above list.

Fake Jobs & AI Model Training
Two things we will never do:
1.We never use candidate data to train AI models
2.We will never post fake or ghost jobs
Every job opportunity on our platform is real, and it’s by design.
Our platform runs on a methodology called Just-in-Time Talent - a process that can only be triggered when an employer posts a new job.
The moment they do, our AI sourcing technology begins identifying best-match candidates, then passing curated lists to our recruiter team to review, verify, and for us to reach out.
So if you've heard from us, it's because a real employer initiated a role - and you were a great match.

When our team reaches out to you directly via email with a job opportunity, you will be asked to book time via a calendly link with one of our team members below:

Any email discussing a Web3 job opportunity will be for our Web3 recruitment team: Chris Fitzpatrick, Callum Crombie, Antoine Bremond, Daniel Coughlan, James Coughlan, Archie Davies or Shaun O’Donnell.

Your Interview. Your Data.
We will always let you know if you need to sign up to our platform before joining a call with our team.
In agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, your video interview with the team may be added to your profile for employers to determine a match with their jobs.
You can however explicitly decline having the video interview being added to your profile when speaking with our recruiter team. Just say so and your profile will be “video-less” with your identity verification being confirmed by the recruitment professional who took the call.
A “Calyptus Verified" badge will sit on your profile regardless for employers to know you are real!
Our platform then helps score and rank your profile so employers can find you.
Final Note
When Calyptus contacts you, we'll always be upfront about the role with a light overview & description, and the type of client we're reaching out on behalf of (industry, location, work preference), and why we think you'd be a great fit.
We will never ask for payment at any stage, and we'll never ask for sensitive financial or identification information over email.
